With a record 11,079 new cases reported yesterday, one thing is clear:  Lockdown alone is not helping to manage this pandemic as well as we would imagine.

The government must move away from arbitrary distinctions between “essential” and “non-essential” sectors as it is hurting our economy even further. Instead, we need to consider how to gradually re-open business sectors using science-based approaches.
