On April 29 th , Astro Awani invited REFSA Research Coordinator, Fakhrurrazi Rashid to discuss about Pakatan Harapan government performance after 1 year in Putrajaya. He argues that the current government has improved fighting corruption, promoting good governance and enhance democratic space in Malaysia. But, the larger concern about people economy is the main challenge as the impact is still low. To ensure people's wellbeing in the good condition, Fakhrurrazi Rashid see the government should come out with ‘New Deal’ in economics reform, moving away from conventional thinking towards new economic opportunity and sustainable model. It is very important to form sustainable class and society, such as new middle class to support nation growth.
