2005 Report of the Royal Commission to Enhance the Operation and Management of the Royal Malaysia Police

A Royal Commission was set up on 4 February 2004 to scrutinize the weaknesses and efficiency of Royal Malaysia Police’s operation and management. In the report, the commission suggested 125 recommendations to enhance the operation and management of Police. However, the Royal Commission failed in their quest because the most important recommendation to establish Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) was rejected.
